Three Reasons Not to Miss ICUEE 2019 in Louisville

three reasons

In case it’s not yet on your radar, the International Construction & Utility Equipment Exposition (ICUEE) is returning to the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville Oct. 1–3.

If you’re considering a first-time visit to the utility industry’s largest trade show as I was in 2017, there’s a lot to take in considering the more than 28 acres of indoor and outdoor exhibits and the 18,000 plus utility professionals attending. The FOMO factor (Fear of Missing Out) is real.

For starters, go to icuee.com, look through the attendee FAQs, they cover all you need to know about logistics, registration, badges, hotel and travel and some background information about education courses available at the show. Once you see how easy it is to sign up, consider these three reasons why this year’s show is a “can’t miss.”

1. The Next Show Isn’t Until 2021

ICUEE is well-attended and includes everyone from top level executives to safety, equipment, fleet and training managers. Stay ahead of the innovation curve by taking insights and ideas back to your company.

It’s one of the larger shows that we at Signature Systems attend, drawing tens of thousands to see the latest industry developments. So, if there’s a new product you want to see or a partner or client you want to touch base with face-to-face, the opportunities are limited only by your time.

2. Get a First Look at the Latest Products

According to ICUEE.com, more than 1,000 leading equipment manufacturers and service providers will fill the exhibit space with the latest technology and products. Some of the bigger names include Altec, Caterpillar, CASE, Ditch Witch, John Deere, Razer Lift and Sherp ATV.

Come by Booth 4016 to visit our Signature Systems’ team and to check out some of our top construction matting products, including a full-size heavy-duty MegaDeck® HD mat and DuraDeck®. If your construction or utility company typically uses wood mats for remote access roads or work platforms, just ask our team, “What’s in it for me to try composite mats?” It’s our favorite topic.

3. It’s Fun to Explore

A big show like ICUEE is full of new ideas and technology, renewed friendships and high-energy interactions at the free evening events and receptions. Plan ahead to attend talks, courses or demos, but be sure to leave time to just walk the show and see what you discover.

Register at icuee.com to receive show updates and be sure to stop by our Signature Booth 4016 to say hello.
